Many people have been deeply affected by this election cycle and the ensuing financial tangle of 2008… including a few who have never really been politically engaged before, like my husband. Arthur has unfortunately contracted Barack Derangement Syndrome. I worry for his blood pressure and try to counteract the mounting pessimism when he comes home with stories of The One’s supporters and what the bad guys are getting away with. He’s taking this all very personally.
Still others try to remain neutral, as I discovered last night. Not willing to vote for -or against- either candidate. This troubles me even more, as I not only believe our vote to be a sacred right and privilege… but this year of all years we need people to get down off the fence and take a stand. I was also told last night that it’s pretty obvious where I stand. Lord, I hope so. LOL!
I will be so glad when this is all over.

I saw this all over the net with no credit given. I’d be happy to salute whoever did it; just leave a comment.
Obama has terrorist friends… sued banks on behalf of ACORN so they would make bad loans… thrown scads of people under his bus for political gain in the last two years… I just want to see ‘bus for sale‘ on that sucker come November 5th!

Which reminds me, Ted Nugent was on CNN last night with Glenn Beck. He’s funny, but he’s gravely serious about his participation in the Democracy Experiment, and he’s not giving up.
It’s easy to get weary in well-doing. The 40 years of relentless guilt-mongering and moralizing from the Left is exhausting and stunningly effective. They’re now banking on the chariness of the Right to appear “radical” by countering this power-grab with anything like organized vigor. They know we’re too busy trying to pay their salaries.
Buenos Aires is looking good right now. Portugal…
