As much as I loathe seeing Christmas decorations in August, I’m on the holidays this year. Unlike last year, which we’ll just call ‘the year of quick excess’, I’ve already purchased two Christmas presents and some Thanksgiving decorations at a deeply discounted sale.

There are some things I don’t -and won’t- need, such as Halloween invitations, but if I did I’d be buying them now; lesson learned! If I’m out and see something I think someone might like I buy it; no more last minute hair tearing episodes. This is something BFB has been doing for years, but I just never got it before.

Friends and relatives reading this: get your order in now before I buy you something you don’t want. Heh…
