I love Ridgebacks, such pretty coloring. Quite a few on my pupper forums also own Ridgebacks. They are very gentle dogs.

He’s so handsome! I had a 1/2 dobie 1/2 ridgeback once upon a time and she’s was a sweetie. My guess is that Obi’s a sweetheart too. His eyes say “yes, I am. Oh yeah, got any treats?”

Don’t forget stubborn! They’re just like a Cat in that they know exactly what you want but retain the right to do it when they please, if at all. Never ever turn your back on an RR and expect the steak to stay on the plate or the cake on the counter…..

Oh what a sweetheart! My hub has always wanted a Ridgeback, and probably will get one someday. We had a mixed breed ridgeback for 12 years, he was just the most loyal dog around. That’s the one on my header, btw. ‘course, he was a lot smaller than a pure bred RR.
Anyway, thanks for showing us Obi!

What a handsome dog that is. Good Lord.
I have a friend that just got a Ridgeback last year. One year old that dog is… and I firmly believe Wes is right and it’ll be a puppy until he’s 7. He’ll be a 120 lb puppy. He’s gonna be BIG.
And as much as I’d love to have one… as they are sweet as all get out and SMART, I can’t have a puppy for 7 years that weighs as much as I do! (or at least CLOSE in weight) I see my losing too many battles…

OK, cute. I admit it. But the Dachshund version is *so* much cuter!
