Mrs Who -like most of us- is tired of the media telling us what and who we are… but when they start calling the American people ‘war weary’, she draws the proverbial line in the sand.

A snippet:

Osgood mentioned that it might be a good movie for ‘War-weary Americans’ seeking an escape.

With all due respect Mr. Osgood, where the fuck is the war in America? The only Americans who can truly be called ‘war-weary’ would be our American soldiers. And they don’t get too much time for an escape.

Other war-weary people are the citizens of Iraq, who have been fighting a war for freedom since at least the reign of Saddam Hussein. They continue to fight against extremists who wish for a return of the violent oppression of freedom. Other weary people are the Israeli citizens, who have been fighting a war against annihilation.

The entire thing’s a keeper. You just don’t piss off a woman who faces a classroom full of our nation’s youth every day…
