I noticed this lump/bump on Bree’s snout this morning… it wasn’t there last night.
Bad picture, taken hastily. The thing is HARD and I won’t mess around, but will take her to the vet today. Anyone seen anything like this??
Oh, she’s yawning, not telling me off…

She’s fine; the thing is going down. Must have been a bite/sting of some sort. Sorry for the freak out.
Bug/Spider bite?
I just consulted with my ‘expert’ and she opines that it’s a bite/sting. I’ll watch it and won’t take her into the vet unless it gets worse. So far it’s the same.
I just freaked out… good damn thing I didn’t have human children! LOL! I’d freak every time one of them caught a cold.
My vote is Bug Bite. Especially if it came up overnight.
It May take a few weeks to go down though.
It’s already going down a bit.

Whew! Glad all is well… 
Glad to see it’s nothing too serious.
It does remind me of a bad day my 70lb lab pup had one summer. He was stung numerous times on the inside of his mouth and was hurting pretty badly… as it continued to swell, I decided a trip to the vet wouldn’t hurt. Little did I know.
As I let him out of the back gate to go to the car, he took off and ran in front of a passing car and was hit, but he just rolled along the side of the road and got back up in the same motion and ran back into the back yard. Now? No question in my mind .. we were going to the vets for sure. I finally coaxed him into the car and by this time his ears were swollen from shaking his head so much because of the painful stings to his mouth and it caused internal hemorrhaging (not uncommon with water dogs). ANYWAY… He’s in the car and I turn the AC on because … well.. cause, I was hot. I rolled up the windows and low and behold I rolled the @#$% window up on his tail.
In the end, Duke checked out fine and he was rewarded with a days worth of doggy downers. I was rewarded with a days worth of dirty looks from my now, lost all confidence in it’s owner, puppy dog.
Moral of the story: Sometimes it’s safer NOT to go the vets 
OMG, poor Duke! Poor Ana! I don’t know who to feel more sorry for…!
Bree oughta thank me for not trying to take her to the vet!

Our female has a couple of bumps like that but I never noticed them to crop up overnight. It’s probably a benign cyst of some type.
Hope that’s all it is…
