Holy moly, this is a big caterpillar! Just found it munching on my ficus but won’t disturb it, since I’d be killing what should soon be a big, beautiful butterfly.

My dad used to get enormous green caterpillars on his tomato plants. Since it’s been over 50 years since I’ve seen one (ahem), not sure if this is the same creature or not.
It’s definitely been doing some good eatin! It’s GINORMOUS!
