Our stimulus money was direct deposited yesterday and it’s going straight into the savings account, because if a Democrat - especially Hillary - is elected we’ll be giving that back plus more.
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) has requested nearly $2.3 billion in federal earmarks for 2009, almost three times the largest amount received by a single senator this year.
In addition, Clinton is asking for grants of up to $400 million for interoperable emergency communication, $335 million for emergency planning, $190 million for port security and $225 million for transit security.
Both parties are pretty much socialist at this point… that Stimulus thing is just outright distribution of wealth. Hillary is bad with pork barrel spending, but there are worse ones. I can’t stand any of them… I actually do respect McCain for his lack of earmarks… but don’t trust NeoCons at all.
Good post though… hang on to that stimulus check… you’ll need it before long.
