Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Political correctness finished off the 1st Amendment to the United States Constitution during a last, bloody battle Saturday. Free speech will be greatly missed.

Linda Ramirez-Sliwinski, a trustee for the Village of Carpentersville, Ill., was accused of racism because she referred to her neighbor’s children as ‘monkeys’ while they swung from the branches of another neighbor’s tree. Unfortunately [for Linda], the kids are African-American, meaning that their mother took immediate offense to the characterization and called the police on Linda, who then received a $75 citation for disorderly conduct!

Ramirez-Sliwinski told the kids to stop playing in her next-door neighbor’s tree because she was worried they would fall out of the tree and hurt themselves, Kilbourne said.

Dametta Stewart, a parent of one of the kids, alleges that Ramirez-Sliwinski came outside and told the kids to “quit playing in the tree like monkeys,” according to the police report. Stewart told police she was upset and felt the comment was racist since her children are African-American, Kilbourne said.

Ramirez-Sliwinski told officers that she didn’t believe the comment was racist and that she calls her own grandkids monkeys.
“Technically, I don’t consider it a mistake because that’s not what I meant,” Ramirez-Sliwinski told the newspaper. “They’re children. They’re climbing in a tree. What would you think?”

Well, DUH! All kids are little monkeys. Why the *hell* did Stewart even think the word ‘monkey’ has something to do with skin color?

Before this ‘altercation’, Linda was a pledged delegate for the Obamessiah, but the campaign found the entire incident “unacceptable” and she had to resign.

Mustn’t taint the farking campaign with foul language, racial bias and prejudice. Hell, no. We’ll leave that to the Right Rev Wright and his apt pupil, the Obamessiah.
