This is not going to become the next big Obamarama media circus quote. Too many people today view abortion as a viable alternative to the ‘mistake’ of pregnancy. There is no need to be ‘punished’ with a child just because you had some fun without protection.

“Look, I got two daughters — 9 years old and 6 years old,” he said. “I am going to teach them first about values and morals, but if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby. I don’t want them punished with an STD at age 16, so it doesn’t make sense to not give them information.”

This is loathsome language to me. This is how many people think about the miracle that is human life; that it can be a punishment, a mistake, to be taken at will.

Catholic Democrats for Obama, I’ll ask you the same thing I ask Jewish Democrats who support Obama: how can you vote for this man?

I was talking to a friend of mine this weekend and she brought up the subject of the recent clubbing of baby seals for their pelts. She’s on some kind of list and signed a petition to present to someone… who knows. I didn’t express the proper outrage over the killings, so she questioned my empathy for the helpless babies. My reply seemed to have angered her… I explained while it’s sad that the seals are killed, human babies are killed and thrown away every day all over the world.
It’s just a little difficult for me to get worked up over seals when humans are under attack.
