If you don’t know about the conflict between the ultra liberal village of Berkeley, California, the Code Pinkos and the United States government, you should. Basically, Berkeley wants the Marine recruiting office out of the city, calling them “unwelcome, uninvited intruders”.

At least one Senator has suggested that Berkeley no longer needs federal funds; what a good idea…!

If people want to continue to talk smack about the SF Bay Area they should be willing to put their money where their mouths are or STFU about what happens to be a great place to live for a lot of reasons. And by that I don’t mean I expect everyone to be able to come to SF. But it would have been nice if even one person had the decency to acknowledge that despite the actions of a few, there are still plenty of us here who support and appreciate the military, even those of us who didn’t serve,
The constant bitching is really declasse.
