Bree is on a modified raw diet. She eats 4 to 6 chicken necks at night and kibble in the morning. Necks, unless Publix is out of them and I have to give her backs or wings. I hate giving her backs; no idea why. Maybe because the chicken butt is attached. And wings are ridiculously expensive.
The raw side of her diet - and if you want to know why I do both, it’s because I want to achieve a balance, make sure she gets all the nutrients she needs and also because if I have to board her she needs to be able to digest kibble - anyway, the raw side of her diet is fine. But I’ve changed her kibble a few times lately. She was eating Canidae, and maybe it was the run I got once, but I didn’t like it; something about the smell. Then I went to Innova, sibling to Evo, which is what Button ate. Dog people will keep up with me here, but I fear I’ve lost everyone else. Sorry.
Until I found one week that a diet of pure Innova gave her the runs. For a WEEK. That stuff just goes through her. So I bought some Orijen adult yesterday. It smells great and she loves it. The ingredients and sources are impeccable.
We shall see, but I thought I’d mention it in case anyone is kibble shopping. I’ll update near the bottom of the bag.

Do you know about the gap hours you need between feeding kibble and raw, I think it’s like 8 hours because the kibble needs to be fully digested before raw. There is something bad about mixing the two.
We feed Natural Balance, grain free and 1 protein source and they are very allergy conciouse. Lance has food allergies so we have to be very careful about the food we feed (he can’t have chicken). Also one of the problems it would be hard for me to go raw, though I would love to try it.
We feed them Solid Gold Wee bits and christ, I couldn’t believe how much they were pooping. I don’t think I pooped as much as they were.
I had been thinking about trying the pre-made raw diets out there, Natural Balance actually has frozen, pre-made raw food.
Do you notice a huge difference in feeding raw verses all kibble? skin, health, appitite, etc?
