I asked for ‘em and you came through: Gwen had her foot amputated Thursday and was home Saturday. She reports that she can do most of the things that she could before, it’s just a matter of learning how to get around differently.

She now has a request… Any amputees out there? Resources, message boards, etc… where she can exchange experiences and gain comfort of a sort?

Basically, I think she needs a blog of her own! There’s much for her to share about so many subjects, not the least of which is the amputation! Think about it, girl; I could set you up.
