Bree was really unimpressed with our efforts to make her over into Rudolph’s cousin… except when we laughed and clapped, of course. She either has star quality or thinks she already is one.

Her nails are ridiculously long, and I have the dremel out to do them, but dang if she doesn’t act like I’m trying to cut her throat instead of those claws! She may have to visit the ‘parlor’ for a trim if I can’t do it… and trust me, wrestling with this dog for such a thing is not what I’d consider the highlight of my day.
Nails have always been my weak spot; I had to carry Zoe in regularly for her trim. Guess the tradition continues!
She is precious, but if she goes near the dang Christmas tree again I’m going to scream.

I wish I could get Dogliness to wear antlers or anything but a collar or bandanna. She just won’t HAVE it. It doesn’t matter if there are food bribes or whatever. You can’t even get clothes or hats on her long enough to take a quick picture.

Of COURSE she’s a star!
She’s cute!
Our female beagle has the longest nails I’ve seen on a dog. Our two males didn’t and don’t. Is it a female thing or just the way she walks so they don’t get ground down naturally?
