Nothing makes sense.

In an effort to deal with this overwhelming urge to kick someone’s teeth in, I chose to scrapbook. While I haven’t found it to be generally soothing, it’s an extremely useful endeavor. Actually, I’m hoping to generate enough useless shit so that when I die the grands will be able to gather it all into a pile out back and have a massive crap of a bonfire. I like to think they will be kept warm against the coming ice age from burning my accessories. Sort of like that Dennis Quaid pseudo religious climatology movie. But if they burn my books I promise to deliver a bitch slap from beyond the grave. Just sayin’.

Well, scrapbooking does afford one a creative outlet, as well.

Since the color printer is out of two of its required million or so inks, I decided to open up the Creative Memories StoryBook Creater program and work on a book for Zoe. It’s a free program that I’ve blogged about before. You can download scads of cool templates in various sizes, so I chose a pretty 8×8 set called ‘Seasons’ and went to work. It’s deceptively easy to use and I was soon halfway through… when I wondered what I’d do with it. Was this just mental masturbation or will I have it printed and bound into book form?

Here’s where I lost control due to fuzzy thinking.
If I don’t want a bound book, can I get one or two pages printed by sending it to their print center? Or can I print it out on my Canon here at home?
AHA! If I print out the 8×8 pages myself, is there an 8×8 album to put them in? NO. Ironically, the only 8×8 albums are part of a large set! How odd is that?

They need to make this stuff much clearer; I can’t be the only person who doesn’t understand the non-directions.
Or is it just me…?
