We gave chips [not potato] for Christmas last year and that’s still a great gift this season. Poker doesn’t seem to be waning as a pleasant diversion; quite the opposite is true. Nudged onward by the many televised poker tournaments, interest in the game is way up … And let’s not forget the online poker sites! OK, sometimes I wish Arthur could forget about them. LOL!
More people are setting up private poker parties as a get together for their friends without spending so much money at the movies and dinner.

I think for these folks a poker chip set is an ideal gift. Personally, I like the chips that aren’t ‘busy’, with a lot of graphics on them, but I do need at least 4 colors.

If you have a game room at home, there are folding table tops for a professional feel… and even ‘big blind’ and ‘little blind’ buttons! I do like the card shuffler. I can’t shuffle a deck of cards to save my life; never been able to.
