Skateboards are for chumps; look what we found in our yard today!! At this rate we’ll be finding motorcycles by the end of the month…
We’ll give it back in a few days, after its owner has time to think about where she leaves her toys… but for now, I’m having waaaay too much fun with it!! Actually I think I need a bigger one…

We put the scooter thingy back out, but as of yet nobody has taken it. If they delay much longer, I’ll bring it back in and continue having fun… 
I sounds like a child is planning to move in. Very sneaky child. Gives you all the supplies first, and then, when you’ve made room for her pets and toys, she’ll just appear and pretend like she’s always been there.
OHMYGOSH! I hadn’t put it all together, but Mrs. Who, I think you’ve got it!!! The kitty, the toys…. It all adds up!
Well, I will be on the lookout. Who knows what form this devious infant will take, trying to outwit me… doubtless we are being monitored even now by said small person…

I like the confiscation strategy myself. Anything found on the property becomes mine. Well, almost anything. Yesterday some kid plopped his happy ass right down in our yard, took off his bike helmet, and sat with his bike in our front yard for 20 minutes throwing shit at another kid who kept riding by on HIS bike. Heh: I was tempted to turn on the sprinklers, because I’m trying to become the Boo Radley of the neighborhood.
If I had sprinklers, local watering restrictions would have prohibited setting them off except between the hours of 3 and 3:05am every second Tuesday -unless that Tuesday falls on the 13th of the month, in which case the next watering day for me would be that same day the following week except during Leap years…
SO… Had I sprinklers, and if the restrictions permitted, I would have released them on the child. Hell, I’d set them off on the mail carrier. She’s athletic, she can run. I’ve seen her darting back to her little truck in front of a dog, tanned legs fanning back and forth, blond pony tail waving merrily behind, as if bidding ‘adieu, hound of hell’. I’d think she’d take to a little christening after the jihad the sun has been waging on us lately…
