At 3:30am I’d had enough of watching reporters fly down Duval street and emerged from the bedroom to broach the subject of the front plate glass window. I knew Arthur’s back is out… I knew he was comfortable in that chair playing online poker… But I also knew that if the big window goes there would be CAT3 winds and water coming into my home on a too large scale. If one of the other panes of glass is taken out, it’s one small pane, but the big window… I don’t even want to think about it.
It’s strange looking, but the barrier will work. It’s 4:26a and we’re getting rains to match the winds. Only one power flicker so far.
